Surah At-Tin - English Translation by Mir Aneesuddin
وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ
By the fig (or the place Tiin where Noah’s ship embarked), and the olive (or Zaita in Jerusalam, were Jesus received and preached the message of God)
Surah At-Tin, Verse 1
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
and Mount Sinai (where Moses received the message of God)
Surah At-Tin, Verse 2
وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ
and this city of security (Mecca, where our prophet Muhammad initially received and preached the message of God, all these are witnesses that)
Surah At-Tin, Verse 3
لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ
We had indeed created man in the best form
Surah At-Tin, Verse 4
ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
then We brought him back as the lowest of those who are low
Surah At-Tin, Verse 5
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ
except those who believed and did righteous works, then for them there is an unfailing reward
Surah At-Tin, Verse 6
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Then after this what makes you deny the judgment
Surah At-Tin, Verse 7
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
Is not God the Best Judge, of all the judges
Surah At-Tin, Verse 8
