Surah Al-Zalzala - English Translation by Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali
إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا
When the earth is quaked with its (final) earthquake
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 1
وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا
And the earth brings out its heavy (burdens)
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 2
وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
And man says, "What is it with it
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 3
يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا
Upon that Day it will discourse (i.e., proclaim) about its tidings
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 4
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا
That your Lord has revealed to it
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 5
يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
Upon that Day mankind will go forward in diverse (groups) to be shown their deeds
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 6
فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ
So whoever does an atom's weight of charity will see it
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 7
وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it
Surah Al-Zalzala, Verse 8
