Surah Al-Adiyat - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Al-Adiyat (the spirited horses in battle-formation) running with panting breath — act as a witness (of Allah’s Majesty)
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 1
so those strihead of state sparks of fire by the bangs of their hooves
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 2
so those who make assault (in war) at dawn
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 3
so they left behind (them) as a result of that (swift run) a rising cloud of dust
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 4
so those (steeds) penetrated through that (attachead of state assault) a large collection (of the enemy force)
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 5
Verily, the human being regarding his Nourisher-Sustainer is indeed very ungrateful
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 6
although, without doubt he is over this, indeed a (self-) witness
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 7
And surely he, concerning the love for the wealth, is indeed very intense
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 8
Would he then not know when has been exhumed whatever (was buried) in the graves
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 9
and stood fully received whatever (was stored hidden within the hearts) in the chests
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 10
Surely, their Nourisher-Sustainer about them, that Day (is) indeed Well-Acquainted (and All-Aware)
Surah Al-Adiyat, Verse 11
