ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
That awesome (stunning) disaster
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 1
مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
What is (that) awesome disaster
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 2
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
What do you suppose is that awesome disaster
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 3
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
That day, people would be like scattered (confused) moths
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 4
وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
And the mountains like the fluffy tufts of colored wool
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 5
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Anyone whose scales (of good deeds) weigh heavier
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 6
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
Would live in a state of bliss
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 7
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
As for the one whose scale (of good deeds) is lighter
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 8
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
An abysmal pit would totally engulf him
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 9
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
And what do you think is (the content of) the abysmal pit
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 10
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
Hot blazing fire
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 11
