ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
The Striking Calamity
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 1
مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
What is the Striking Calamity
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 2
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
How do you know what the Striking Calamity is
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 3
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
On that Day people will be like scattered moths
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 4
وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
and the mountains will be like carded wool
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 5
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Then the one whose scales of good deeds are heavy
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 6
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
will have a pleasant life
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 7
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
But the one whose scales of good deeds are light
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 8
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
his abode will be the abyss
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 9
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
And how do you know what it is
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 10
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
It is a Blazing Fire
Surah Al-Qaria, Verse 11
