Surah Al-Humaza - English Translation by Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Woe to every slanderer and fault-finder
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 1
ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
The one who piles up wealth and keeps count of it
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 2
يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
thinking that his wealth (and possession) makes him immortal
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 3
كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
No way, he shall be thrown into the crushing fire
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 4
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
And do you know what the crushing fire is
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 5
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
(It is) burning fire of God
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 6
ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
which rises over (and overtakes) the hearts
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 7
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
indeed it closes over them
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 8
فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
in extending columns
Surah Al-Humaza, Verse 9
