Surah Al-Baqara Verse 57 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Baqaraوَظَلَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰۖ كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡۚ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
And We caused the clouds to overshadow you and sent down on you Al-Manna and As-Salwa, (saying): eat of the good lawful things whatever We provided for you.” And they did not wrong Us but they were doing wrong to their own souls
