Surah Al-Maeda Verse 70 - English Translation by Abdul Hye
Surah Al-Maedaلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رُسُلٗاۖ كُلَّمَا جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُهُمۡ فَرِيقٗا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقٗا يَقۡتُلُونَ
Surely, We took covenant of children of Israel and sent to them Messengers. Whenever a Messenger came to them with what not liked by them, some of them denied him, and some of them killed him
