Surah Al-Maeda Verse 70 - English Translation by Dr Kamal Omar
Surah Al-Maedaلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رُسُلٗاۖ كُلَّمَا جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُهُمۡ فَرِيقٗا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقٗا يَقۡتُلُونَ
Verily, We took a covenant from Bani Israiel, and sent towards them Messengers. Whenever (there) came to them a Messenger with what theirselves desired not — a group of them they called liars and another group (among these Messengers) they assassinate
