Surah At-Taghabun - English Translation by Mir Anees Original
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ
Whatever is in the skies and whatever is in the earth glorifies Allah, His is the kingdom and to Him is due (all) praise and He has power over everything
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 1
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ كَافِرٞ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
He it is Who created you, but one of you is an infidel and one of you is a believer, and Allah is a Seer of that which you do
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 2
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
He created the skies and the earth in reality, and He gave you form and made your forms good, and towards Him is the destination
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 3
يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
He knows whatever is in the skies and the earth and He knows that which you hide and that which you make public and Allah is the Knower of what the bosoms (hearts) possess
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 4
أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
Has not the news come to you of those who did not believe before (you)? So they tasted the evil result of their affair and for them there is a painful punishment
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 5
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٞ يَهۡدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُواْ وَتَوَلَّواْۖ وَّٱسۡتَغۡنَى ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ
That was because there came to them their messengers with clear proofs but they said, “Shall human beings guide us?” So they became infidels and turned away, therefore Allah (too) became unconcerned and Allah is Independent, Praised
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 6
زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَن لَّن يُبۡعَثُواْۚ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبۡعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ
Those who do not believe, claim that they will never be raised (after their death). Say, “Why not! by my Fosterer! you will definitely be raised, then you will be informed of that which you did and that is easy for Allah.”
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 7
فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلۡنَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ
So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have sent down and Allah is informed of that which you do
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 8
يَوۡمَ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡجَمۡعِۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحٗا يُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
The day He will gather you for the day of gathering, that will be the day of manifestation of misappropriations. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteous work, He will remove from him his evil deeds and He will make him enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, for staying therein for ever. That is the great achievement
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 9
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
And those who do not believe and deny Our signs, those are the inhabitants of the fire, they will stay therein and it is an evil destination
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 10
مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ
No disaster befalls except by Allah’s permission and whoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart and Allah is the Knower of everything
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 11
وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
And obey Allah and obey the messenger but if you turn away then the responsibility of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) clearly
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 12
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Allah, there is no god except Him, so let the believers put their trust in Allah
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 13
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدِكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا لَّكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡۚ وَإِن تَعۡفُواْ وَتَصۡفَحُواْ وَتَغۡفِرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ
O you who believe! some of your wives and your children are certainly your enemies, so be cautious of them, and if you pardon and overlook and protectively forgive, then Allah (too) is Protectively Forgiving, Merciful
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 14
إِنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ
Your wealth and your children are only a trial, and there is a great reward with Allah
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 15
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَٱسۡمَعُواْ وَأَطِيعُواْ وَأَنفِقُواْ خَيۡرٗا لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
So fear Allah as much as you can and listen and obey and spend, that is better for your souls; and one who is saved from the selfishness of his soul, then those are the persons who are successful
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 16
إِن تُقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعِفۡهُ لَكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
If you loan to Allah a good loan, He will double it for you and He will protectively forgive you, and Allah is One Who acknowledges Clement (Gentle)
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 17
عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise
Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 18
