Surah Al-fil - English Translation by Rowwad Translation Center
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the Elephant
Surah Al-fil, Verse 1
أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Did He not turn their scheme into a total loss
Surah Al-fil, Verse 2
وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
He sent against them swarms of birds
Surah Al-fil, Verse 3
تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
pelting them with stones of baked clay
Surah Al-fil, Verse 4
فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ
leaving them like chewed up and trampled chaff
