Surah Al-fil - English Translation by Safi Ur Rahman Al Mubarakpuri
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant
Surah Al-fil, Verse 1
أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
Did He not make their plot go astray
Surah Al-fil, Verse 2
وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
And He sent against them birds, in flocks (Ababil)
Surah Al-fil, Verse 3
تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
Striking them with stones of Sijjil
Surah Al-fil, Verse 4
فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ
And He made them like `Asf, Ma'kul
