Surah Al-Masadd - English Translation by Aisha Bewley
تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Ruin to the hands of Abu Lahab and ruin to him
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 1
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
His wealth has not helped him nor anything he has earned
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 2
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
He will burn in a Flaming Fire
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 3
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
And so will his wife, the firewood-carrier
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 4
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck
