Surah Al-Masadd - English Translation by Mufti Taqi Usmani
تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Perish the two hands of Abū Lahab, and perish he
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 1
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Neither his wealth benefited him, nor what he earned
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 2
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
He will soon enter a Fire, full of flames
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 3
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
and his wife as well,-the wicked carrier of firewood
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 4
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Around her neck, there is (a collar of iron, like) a well-twisted rope
