Surah Al-Masadd - English Translation by Ali Bakhtiari Nejad
تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
May Abu Lahab's both hands perish (or may Abu Lahab's power perish), and it perished
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 1
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
His wealth and what he earned was of no use to him
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 2
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
He is going to enter (and burn in) a flaming fire
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 3
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
and (so is) his wife, carrier of the firewood
Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 4
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
around her neck is a rope from palm fiber
