Surah Al-Inshiqaq - English Translation by Dr Munir Munshey
                  When the sky splits apart
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 1

And heeds its Lord´s command, as it truly must
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 2

                  When the earth distends
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 3

Casts off its contents, and becomes bare and blank
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 4

It will heed its Lord´s command, as it truly must
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 5

Oh man! Indeed, you are steadily advancing towards your Lord. You shall meet Him
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 6

Then, the one who is given his record (of deeds) in his right (hand)
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 7

Will truly face a light (and lenient) reckoning
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 8

And will happily return to his folks
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 9

But the one who is given his record of deed behind his back
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 10

Will call for (his own) death
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 11

But will roast in the fiery blaze
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 12

(In his life), he had been happy (and contented) among his kin
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 13

And (spuriously) assumed that he would never have to come back (to his Lord)
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 14

Why not? His Lord was (always) watching all his deeds
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 15

No! Really, I swear by the sunset glow
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 16

And the night, and everything it enshrouds
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 17

And the moon when it is full
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 18

You would definitely move along, from one stage to another
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 19

What is with them? Why don´t they believe
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 20

When the Qur´an is recited before them, why do they not fall prostrate
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 21

Instead, the unbelievers refuse to accept
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 22

Indeed, Allah (alone) knows what (kind of) deeds they collect
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 23

So give them the news of a painful punishment
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 24

(Which will strike all), except those who believe and perform righteous deeds. For them, there exists an unrestricted, ever-lasting reward
                  Surah Al-Inshiqaq, Verse 25
