Surah AL-Infitar - English Translation by The Monotheist Group Edition
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ
When the heaven is cracked
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 1
وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ
And when the planets are scattered
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 2
وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ
And when the seas burst
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 3
وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ
And when the graves are laid open
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 4
عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ
Then the soul will know what it has brought forth and what it has left behind
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 5
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ
O man, what made you arrogant against your Lord, the Generous
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 6
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
The One who has created you, then evolved you, then made you upright
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 7
فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةٖ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
Inany which picture He chooses, He places you
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 8
كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ
No, you are but deniers of the system
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 9
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
Andover you are those who watch
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 10
كِرَامٗا كَٰتِبِينَ
Honorable scribes
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 11
يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
They know what you do
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 12
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖ
Thepious are in the Paradise
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 13
وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖ
Andthe wicked are in Hell
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 14
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ
They will enter it on the Day of Recompense
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 15
وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ
Andthey will not be absent from it
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 16
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
Anddo you know what is the Day of Recompense
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 17
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
Then again, do you know what is the Day of Recompense
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 18
يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ
TheDay when no soul possesses anything for any other soul, and the decision on that Day is to God
Surah AL-Infitar, Verse 19
