Surah Abasa - English Translation by Mustafa Khattab God Edition
He frowned and turned ˹his attention˺ away
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 1

˹simply˺ because the blind man came to him ˹interrupting˺
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 2

You never know ˹O Prophet˺, perhaps he may be purified
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 3

or he may be mindful, benefitting from the reminder
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 4

As for the one who was indifferent
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 5

you gave him your ˹undivided˺ attention
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 6

even though you are not to blame if he would not be purified
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 7

But as for the one who came to you, eager ˹to learn˺
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 8

                  being in awe ˹of God˺
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 9

                  you were inattentive to him
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 10

But no! This ˹revelation˺ is truly a reminder
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 11

So let whoever wills be mindful of it
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 12

It is ˹written˺ on pages held in honour—
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 13

                  highly esteemed, purified—
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 14

                  by the hands of angel-scribes
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 15

                  honourable and virtuous
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 16

                  Surah Abasa, Verse 17

From what substance did He create them
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 18

He created them from a sperm-drop, and ordained their development
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 19

Then He makes the way easy for them
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 20

                  Surah Abasa, Verse 21

Then when He wills, He will resurrect them
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 22

                  Surah Abasa, Verse 23

how We pour down rain in abundance
                  Surah Abasa, Verse 25

                  Surah Abasa, Verse 26
